2007 Gran Reserva 904, only Spanish red in Forbes world selection

The Gran Reserva 904 of 2007 vintage is the only Spanish red chosen by the American magazine Forbes in its exclusive selection of fourteen wines (white and red) from around the world that it considers the “perfect gift”. The influential financial publication is famous for the annual edition of lists with great international follow-up, particularly in the business sector.

The wine from La Rioja Alta, S.A. winery in Haro, is one of the six reds chosen in a list of recommendations (check here) which also includes other types of wine, including champagne, port and sweet wine. Forbes also establishes seven different 'categories' depending on the recipient of the gift, naming the 2007 Gran Reserva 904 as optimal choice to give to the “wine connoisseur.”

Gran Reserva 904 is a wine made by the over one-hundred-year-old house, La Rioja Alta, S.A., exclusively with the top-quality vintages, like the 2007. It is made with a selection of its best Tempranillo (90%) and Graciano (10%) grapes from estate-owned vineyards planted with vines that are more than 60 years old. Thanks to its elegance, complexity and sophistication, it is considered one of the great international references of Rioja Gran Reserva wines.
